Why Choose Dr. Richardson? | Specialist Plastic Surgeon Brisbane
Dr. Richardson often educates, presents and regularly mentors training surgeons as part of their training and experience. Today, Dr. Richardson performs over 650 breast surgeries per year, including breast augmentation mammoplasty, breast lift mastopexy, breast reduction mammaplasty and breast revision. Dr. Richardson has extensive experience in complex cases and congenital conditions and he is able to adapt to any unique requests or challenges a patient may present.
As one of the only plastic surgeons in Queensland focusing entirely in breast surgery, Dr. Richardson takes a meticulous approach to surgery, as well as his commitment to patient safety and care in order to achieve the best possible results for his patients. Dr. Richardson is best known for his work using the internal bra technique and his success in complex revisionary cases. Using strategic incisional approaches and minimal tissue interference, Dr. Richardson’s patients experience a procedure tailored specifically to their anatomy, goals, and lifestyle.
Dr. Richardson has signed the pledge committed to reducing implant contamination using the best available current evidence. He adheres strongly to the 14-point plan. The 14 steps target bacteria, which have been shown to cause capsular contracture – hardening, pain and deformity following breast implant surgery. By using the 14PP, the number of bacteria attaching to implants is reduced and the risk of breast implant complications are minimised (saferimplants.org, 2018). This attention to detail and care in practice is a pivotal aspect of patient safety and outcomes, and before choosing any surgeon you should ask about their knowledge of the 14-point-plan.
Beyond his technical expertise, Dr. Richardson is known for his compassionate, patient-centered approach, ensuring every individual receives the highest standard of care. Whether performing complex reconstructive procedures or enhancing natural beauty through cosmetic surgery, he is dedicated to achieving exceptional patient outcomes with safety and precision.
